About the project

Ferro Coffee roasts small lots from a dozen farms and supplies cafés along the Riviera. Their bags had grown into a patchwork of styles, and new coffees were taking weeks to design and print.

The brief: give the roastery an identity strong enough to be recognised across a room, and simple enough to update in a morning.

What we made: a dense, compact wordmark, a palette where each colour stands for a roast, and a single typographic line that carries the farm, the region and the tasting notes. Every bag, cup and invoice follows the same rules.

Where it lives: on the roastery's packaging, in partner cafés and on a new online shop that launched with the identity.

Two iced coffees, one black and one with milk, in clear glasses on a white surface
An espresso with golden crema in a glass cup on a saucer in soft sunlight
Four coffee drinks in ceramic mugs arranged on a marble table
Milk being poured into a latte beside a hand resting on a napkin
